Born in 1966 in Rome, after living several year abroad (EGYPT, where he took a diploma in Arabic Lanaguage, LIBYA, TUNISIA, PRINCIPALITY OF MONACO), started working in the shipping field in 1996 in a Shipping Agency.
Before working in the shipping field he was working in the Tourism world being representative of major Italian Tour Operators in North Africa.

In the shipping filed he acquired good skill and acknowledge of following:

• Chartering of vsl and further follow up;
• Negotiations of chartering hires/period/charter parties;
• Operational instructions to the Vessels/Owners/Local Agents worldwide;
• Logistic of ports and (including supervision of availability of cargo);
• Supply of the vessel’s fuel (Bunkering world wide);
• Supervision of the local agents and the arrival / sailing of the vessels in all ports;
• Maintain contact with ship owners and port installations, vessel, as the logistics relative to the landing of the vsl all over the world;
• Preparing the charter parties;
• Managing all the payment to vessel owners, vessel supplier (bunker);
• Checking the STATEMENT of FACT and analyzing the LAYTIME CALCULATION;
• Handling claim on DEMURRAGE/DESPATCH;

Handling legal claim on respect of:

• VESSEL DETANTION
• OFF HIRE
• UNDERPERFORMANCE
• OVERCONSAMPTION
• LATE PAYMENT OF HIRE
• ARBITRATION
• REALESING OF BILLS OF LADING
• All the operations related to the “Post-Fixture”.
